He was born and raised in Huntington Beach, attending Sts. Simon and Jude, Hawes, Sowers, and Edison... and playing nearly every sport under the sun. In high school, Brian started working for the City of Costa Mesa Parks and Recreation Department where he served for 12 years. During that time he became known throughout the community as Mr. Dude. Brian began coaching in youth recreation basketball, transitioned to club basketball in 2002, and in 2007 began coaching at the high school level for Edison and Estancia High Schools. Brian founded FAB 5 in 2011. You'd be hard pressed to find a coach more passionate than Brian Beerbower.
